A Brief History of P.O.E. Design
P.O.E. Design was founded in 1992. Our original name
was 'Peace of Earth,' and we were involved in selling
wool sweaters and Mexican pottery at Flea Markets and
weekend festivals.
In May of 1994, our first location opened in the Pickering
Town Centre. That store operated until 1998.
In October of 1994, our Port Perry location opened.
In 1998, the name changed to P.O.E. Design in
response to changes in the marketplace.
Over the years it has developed a loyal
customer following with a reputation for quality items at
reasonable prices.
We pride ourselves on strong commitment to personal
customer service.
